Service Description
Many people arrive at yoga carrying far more than physical tightness. Perhaps your body feels stiff, compressed, tired, or reactive. Maybe your mind rarely slows down. You may notice shallow breathing, chronic stress, difficulty relaxing, disrupted sleep, emotional fatigue, or the feeling that your body is always “holding on.” Over time, these patterns can affect everything — posture, mobility, digestion, mood, energy, resilience, and even your ability to feel present and connected to life itself. This is where Somatic Kriya Yoga becomes different. Rather than forcing the body into shapes or chasing performance, these classes guide you into a deeper conversation with your nervous system through conscious breath, subtle movement, awareness, meditative stillness, and internal sensing. Movement follows breath. Awareness becomes the bridge between body and mind. The goal is not perfection — but regulation, ease, and reconnection. My teaching style reflects nearly three decades of study and experience in yoga, breathwork, somatic healing, meditation, and nervous system regulation. Since 1998, I have studied and taught practices rooted in Kriya Yoga, somatic awareness, breath science, sound healing, and trauma-sensitive approaches to movement and healing. What makes these classes different is the attention given not only to physical movement, but to how your body feels while moving. You are not pushed - You are guided. You are supported in learning how to listen to your body instead of override it. This creates a practice that is profoundly grounding, healing, and sustainable — one that many students describe as transformative not only physically, but mentally and emotionally as well. Small class sizes allow for personal attention, modifications, and a safe, welcoming environment for all levels and abilities. Cancellation Policy
Classes Cancellations made at least 24 hours before class may be transferred to another class or credited toward a future booking. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the class are non-refundable. Private Sessions A minimum of 24 hours' notice is required for cancellation or rescheduling. Missed appointments or cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice will be charged in full.
