Service Description

Many people today live in a constant state of doing. The nervous system becomes overstimulated, the breath becomes shallow, sleep becomes disrupted, and the body begins to carry layers of tension, fatigue, and stress. You may feel physically tight, mentally exhausted, emotionally overwhelmed, or simply disconnected from your body's natural signals. Over time, these patterns can affect mobility, energy, focus, resilience, and overall wellbeing. Restorative Kriya Yoga offers a different approach. This class gently guides the body and nervous system from stress and effort toward rest, repair, and regulation. Through supported restorative postures, conscious breathing, somatic awareness, meditative stillness, and subtle Kriya-based practices, you are invited to slow down and reconnect with yourself. A key element of this practice is the use of props such as bolsters, blankets, straps, blocks, and cushions. These supports allow the body to feel fully supported, helping muscles soften and the nervous system settle more deeply. Postures are comfortably supported and held for longer periods, allowing physical and emotional tension to release gradually and naturally. Rather than stretching aggressively, the body is gently invited into relaxation and restoration. As support increases, resistance often decreases. The breath deepens naturally, the mind quiets, and the body remembers how to rest. Since 1998, I have guided students through practices that honour both the physical and emotional dimensions of healing. What makes these classes different is the emphasis on breath, awareness, and nervous system-sensitive pacing. Rather than pushing the body, we create the conditions for healing, ease, and lasting change. Small class sizes allow for personal attention, modifications, and a welcoming environment for all levels and abilities. This is more than relaxation. It is an opportunity to restore your relationship with breath, body, and inner balance.

Cancellation Policy

Classes Cancellations made at least 24 hours before class may be transferred to another class or credited toward a future booking. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the class are non-refundable. Private Sessions A minimum of 24 hours' notice is required for cancellation or rescheduling. Missed appointments or cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice will be charged in full.
